TRANSPORTATION AND TRAVELLING IN THE VALLEY

One of the main features of the Alta Pusteria Festival is that it doesn’t take place in a single city, but in twelve towns located in the central area of the Val Pusteria between Chienes (Italy) and Sillian (Austria). The distance between these two towns is about 50 Km and the average travelling time is 50 minutes.

So, it usually happens that the choir has its accommodation in a town and some of its performances in another town. Also, at the moment of your registration you can’t know either the town of your accommodation or the schedule of your performances, as they are communicated at the end of May.

Then, it would be better for each participant choir to have its own bus!
That’s useful not only to reach the concert venues, but also to move around the valley in the spare time.

If you arrive by air, you can rent a bus on the spot according to the number of people of your group: if you are more than 40 sure you need a bus, if you are 20/25 people probably the rent of a shuttle (or a couple of shuttles) is better.
Moreover, you can choose between to rent a bus/shuttle for all the period of stay or just for the single transfers to the locations of the events.
