In San Candido between gnomes and fairies

In front of the Dolomites that serve as sentinels, the city of San Candido often means relaxation, and life in the Val Pusteria. Taking the chairlift that takes us to Monte Baranci, the perfect adventure awaits us to experience the Val Pusteria with the children: the Gnome Village. A set of wooden houses in the middle of the woods, some reachable only by climbing the stairs or following the splendid rope bridges, where it will seem to be really in the company of gnomes and fairies. Take advantage of the on-site recreational art workshops, or take a dip in the two ponds below the village. It is said that they were born from the footprints left by a gentle giant walking the valley.

Why use the chair lift when we can go down with the FunBob? Almost two kilometers of bobsled track that takes us back home through the forest. An experience not to be missed, even for adults! On the same style, getting closer to Lienz, to the Moosalm, we can go to the Alpine Coaster Osttirodler, a toboggan run that is open all year round and is 2.7 km long.

Among the many walks, the excursion to Prato Piazza, in the Val di Braies area, can also be done with strollers. Lunch in a hut and a large area for children to play.

Also in San Candido is the Aquafun, where children under three are free

Being in Val Pusteria with children is easy, just follow the footsteps of legends! After gnomes and animals, we follow the path of the Elves in the Vandoies of Sopra.
